Hidden treasures are everywhere in Perth but who knew we had a world class whiskey distillery in the heart of our city? On this Whiskey and Wheels guided bike tour enjoy the magnificent views along Perth’s river foreshores before visiting this hidden gem for a guided tour and tastings.
We start our tour on the newly renovated South Perth piazza - Mindeerup, before heading towards the causeway on our super comfortable bikes. We take our time to cycle casually along before reaching the photogenic Optus stadium.
We journey past "The Camfield", Australia's largest pub and cross the new Matagarup bridge.
We ride through Claisebrook Cove and weave our way into East Perth to find the WhiskeyDistillery.
We are taken on a tour of the production area, learn more about the distilling process and the wonderful recipe story.
Then time for a few tasters or a coffee in the distillery's cafe. We jump back on the bikes and head home taking in more wonderful views of the city on our way to South Perth.
